Visiting Vladivostok, Russia.
Congrats to the Jews of Vladivostock, Russia on the opening of the synagogue which had been confiscated under Communism. My aunt Clara of "Klara's Journey," (Marion Street Press) an historical novel, AND a story of "betrayal, drama and love," http://amzn.to/13Sp769 visited this famous port, Vladivostok, the final stop on the Trans-Siberian railway. The year was 1918. , U.S. troops were stationed there. Ninety years after her stopover on her journey to Canada, I visited the city and its vibrant Jewish community. For more info, read "Klara's Journey," wherever books are sold, an ebook.
